Seacliff Beach/Ocean Access Mat & Wheelchair

wheelchair access seacliff

Walkers, canes, wheelchairs and strollers are just a few of the mobility assist devices that can assist people to make their way down the beach access mat to enjoy the ocean at Seacliff Beach.

The mat is rolled out every weekend and public holiday from 1pm to 5pm. It is rolled out at Seacliff Beach in front of the Seacliff Hotel where there is a wheelchair ramp leading down to the beach.  The beach mat sits at the base of this ramp allowing access to and from the ramp.

This project has been a culmination of efforts from Surf Life Saving SA and MP David Spiers.

The mat is rolled out between 1pm – 5pm Saturday and Sunday and Public Holidays between October and April.

There are also two Mobility Chairs available to be pre-booked.
