Moro Spanish Film Festival – Adelaide 2022
The Moro Spanish Film Festival presented by Palace returns with a curated selection of films from Spain, Latin America and beyond.
The festival will take place at the Palace Nova Eastend Cinemas this 27 April to 18 May 2022. A curated selection of 34 films will be showing this year across Australian Palace cinemas. This year’s festival will be screening the popular family film, Encanto, as the Spanish language version (without subtitles).
This year, there are two family friendly films showing at the festival.

Encanto in Spanish (no subtitles)
The Festival is pleased to present the Spanish-language version of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Encanto. It tells the tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto.

The Kids are Alright (English subtitles)
When Ricardo, (Santiago Segura, Torrente, Father There is Only One) a responsible yet hypochondriac father, is suddenly tasked with the responsibility of taking his son and six other children to a camp in Asturias, things do not go to plan. The only other supervising adult is Felipe (comedian and actor Leo Harlem) an extravagant and irresponsible grandfather of two of the children.
At the train station, unexpectedly the train departs with the children safely onboard, leaving Ricardo and Felipe on the platform.
