Stuff at Home – Put it in the Right Bin

The ‘Stuff at Home – put it in the right bin’ interactive house is a fun, engaging and educational way to teach people about correct disposal of common household items.

With families staying home 7 days a week during the COVID-19 restrictions you may have noticed you are putting out a lot more rubbish for waste collection each week.  It’s really important for all households to know what rubbish should go in which bin – and education on this subject is the key.

In the interactive, participants will make their way through six rooms (they can start in any room) looking for flashing stars that identify items that require disposal. They will decide if the items belong in landfill or can be recycled, placed in an organics bin or require special collection.

Designed for student aged children, in the side menu you will find a teacher guide that includes solutions for each room.
