Tasting Australia presented by Journey Beyond returns to Adelaide in May for another 10 day celebration of eating and drinking in South Australia.
The 2026 program features more than 150 events across South Australia, bringing together leading chefs, producers and makers from around the country, with South Australia’s regions and premium produce firmly in the spotlight.
The 2026 lineup features an impressive mix of international and homegrown talent. Highlights include American sommelier André Hueston Mack, Michelin-starred Spanish chef Nieves Barragán Mohacho aboard The Ghan, Martin Kjäll of Stockholm’s Restaurant AG collaborating with Jake Kellie, and Hong Kong’s Bar Leone teaming up with Honeydripper and Never Never.
Europe’s boundary-pushing collective Punk Royale will also headline exclusive events. The family friendly festival hub Town Square returns to Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga, introducing Good Neighbour presented by Mitolo Family Farms, alongside long-table dining and chef collaborations.
Adelaide venues and cultural spaces will play a stronger role than ever this year, including the new Club Series and Under One Sky at Tandanya, celebrating Aboriginal culture through food, wine and music. Unique experiences range from interactive dining at Mr Hotpoter to Poh Ling Yeow’s Southeast Asian-inspired Poh’s Table and the immersive Sip, Savour, Safari at Monarto Safari Resort. Celebrating the power of food and drink to connect people and place, the 2026 program promises unforgettable experiences that showcase the very best of South Australia.

Free, fun and perfect for families, Tasting Australia’s TOWN SQUARE is the place to meet for a drink, stay for a meal and explore.
Tasting Australia’s festival hub – Town Square – will return once again to Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga offering free entry and plenty of food vendors and bars to explore and discover.
The water fountains are on in front of the Town Square pavilion so if you think your kids won’t be able to resist getting wet, take along a change of clothes and a towel.
