Celebrate Xing Qiu & Yi Lan’s birthdays with Adelaide Zoo at their annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic.
Head along to a beary special day at Adelaide Zoo as Giant Pandas Xing Qiu and Yi Lan take centre stage at their very first Teddy Bears’ Picnic! Take your picnic rug and favourite teddy for a fun-filled day packed with:
- Panda enrichment and Keeper Talks
- Splodge panda art and craft workshops
- Face painting, and more
Activities are free for members and included in your zoo entry ticket. Non-members can book here.
Since arriving in December 2024, Xing Qiu and Yi Lan have delighted keepers and visitors alike with their playful antics, winning hearts and inspiring wildlife conservation. Every visit supports Adelaide Zoo’s vital conservation and breeding programs dedicated to protecting this special species.

The Teddy Bears’ Picnic is a highlight on the zoo calendar and is celebrated each year to mark the zoo’s favourite bears’ birthdays. The day is also an opportunity for Giant Panda lovers to learn more about the species and their conservation.
