For the first time ever in Australia, legendary Filipino rock band, The Dawn, brings their iconic sound to Adelaide, performing their live 40th anniversary concert at The Arkaba.
Formed in 1985, The Dawn is one of the most influential and enduring bands in Filipino rock history. With a career spanning multiple decades, they are celebrated for their melodic rock sound, powerful live performances, and timeless anthems such as “Enveloped Ideas” and “Salamat.”
Their music helped define the Original Pilipino Music (OPM) movement and continues to resonate with audiences across generations. This historic Adelaide show is part of The Dawn’s Australian & New Zealand Tour, marking a rare opportunity to witness a cornerstone of Filipino music history live on an Australian stage.
The event is proudly supported by local South Australian organisers and performers, including Adelaide-based Filipino rock band Garahe. It’s not just a concert but also a cultural celebration bringing together families, professionals, and long-time fans across generations.
