Celebrate the re-opening of Ocean Street and Albert Place at Victor Harbor’s biggest street party ever!
Over the past few years, significant upgrades have taken place in Victor Harbor’s town centre to revitalise and connect key destinations within the much-loved coastal hub. Share in the excitement of Victor Harbor’s transformation with free entertainment and celebrations throughout the evening on Friday 2 December 2022. It’s also the perfect opportunity to welcome in the festive season!
Enjoy roving performers, DJs and live music entertainment, convertibles and classic vehicle display, plus community and market stalls. Visit the local cafes, restaurants and shops.
Schedule:
5pm – Official opening and smoking ceremony – Warland Reserve
5:30pm – Art opening – ‘Connection’ by Matt Turley – Railway Plaza
8pm – Art opening – ‘Phosphorescence’ by Marijana Tadic – Intersection of Ocean Street and Albert Place
Ocean Street
Free face painting, petting zoo sponsored by ADRA Victor Harbor, outdoor dining, shops, community stalls, roving performers, Maggie Moore, Victa Cinema poster sale and two-for-one ticket giveaways.
Albert Place
Outdoor dining, classic car display, lawn games, DJ Mel (4pm), Zkye Trio (5:30 – 7:30pm), and the Rokoustika Duo at The Hotel Crown (7:30pm).
Railway Terrace
Victor Harbor Artisan Market, a visit from Father Christmas, and the ADRA gift giving tree.
Granite Island Causeway
Twilight rides on the Horse Drawn Tram (4 – 6pm), and body builder Brooke Mellor pulling the Horse Tram along the Causeway (6pm).
