New Toymate Store at Colonnades – the largest toy store in South Australia
Toymate is opening their first South Australian store at Colonnades Shopping Centre on Saturday 15 October and families are invited to the grand opening party. Toymate will be the largest toy store in South Australia with a floor space of 1,500 square metres stocking over 10,000 toys.
It will have the largest range of toys and outdoor play equipment, nationally, with brands from all over the world, including LEGO, Barbie, Hot Wheels, Marvel, Pokémon and Fisher Price.
The opening celebrations will feature in store entertainment, including a meet and greet from Gabby, from Gabby’s Dollhouse, plus a huge opening sale, giveaways and a raft of activities for children to enjoy.
Toymate is Australian owned and operated and like Toymate stores in the eastern states, the new store at Colonnades will provide an immersive shopping experience, like no other.
Toymate Founder and CEO Danny Bloom said that all the stores are uniquely designed to be colourful, magical, and experiential; they surprise and delight, and offer a chance to explore, learn and discover.
The new store in Adelaide’s south will create 50 new jobs and reflects Toymate’s commitment to their growing network of stores across the country.
Toymate has also partnered with local not for profit organisation, The Village Co, and will gift toys and essential baby products to the organisation, which has several programs to support disadvantaged new mothers and their families right across the state.
Toymate Colonnades – A First Look Inside
Toymate is a fun and brightly coloured store, located next to Best & Less at Colonnades Shopping Centre. It looks set to become a toy shopping hub for many families across Adelaide with an extensive range of stock for kids of all ages and interests.
Familiar and popular themed toy brands like Barbie, Lego, Pokemon, Marvel and Star Wars have painted aisles leading right up to them and although the store is huge, it’s easy to spot your favourite brands above the shelves, with many easy to read logos and pictures to point you in the right direction.
The store also stocks an immense range of boardgames plus craft supplies, toddler toys, bikes, ride on scooters, skateboards, pool toys, science toys, musical instruments for younger kids, Nerf Guns, colourful kids couches and so much more.
