West Lakes Kids Series Triathlons
Triathlon South Australia is proud to bring to you a new kids race series embedded in their Westfield West Lakes Triathlon Series Events.
*CANCELLED* – Due to the current situation regarding the COVID-19 outbreak this event has been cancelled.
Triathlon Australia has decided to withdraw all sanctioning from events and races on their scheduled calendar until 30th April 2020. Keep updated here.
Thanks to the generous support of Westfield West Lakes, the events will see participants aged 6-10 years participate in a fun and engaging event that will see the kids swim in the lake for 30-50m in shallow water, ride on a closed roads circuit for 1-1.5km and then run 400m before finishing through the arch.
This is an exciting time for the sport as this is a step forward in introducing kids into the sport at a younger age, allowing families to all be part of the inclusive and supportive community that is Triathlon.
Dates for 2019-20:
- Sunday 20 October 2019
- Sunday 17 November 2019
- Monday 27 January 2020
- Sunday 29 March 2020
Race start time is approx. 9.30am. Entry fee is $10.
