Thalassa Park’s magical Storybook Walk has a new resident – the beloved children’s character Grug.
Welcome Grug to the Storybook Walk on Sunday 4 March 2018 where there will be plenty of family activities on the day including face painting, appearances by Elsa and Olaf, roving clowns and magicians and children can even create their own nature crowns. Children are encouraged to wear their favourite dress up costume on the day.
Ted Prior’s Grug will join 13 characters from children’s picture books like Mulga Bill’s Bicycle, Possum Magic and Snugglepot and Cuddlepie, and everyone is welcome to celebrate at a family fun day.
QR codes on plaques give visitors immediate access to the children’s books online in the library system to borrow the book and find out more about the artists.
There will also be a sausage sizzle and coffee van.
Please note that due to illness Ted Prior will not be attending the event.
