This children’s book will delight children of all ages with its colourful characters. A story about self love and not comparing yourself to others, designed to help young children embrace their individually and know they are perfect just the way they are.
Author Taylor Anderson is just 16 years old and last year was diagnosed with anorexia. Now recovered, she is passionate about early education to open conversations with young children about the dangers of negative comparison.
For me, this was the biggest issue fuelling my eating disorder. If my book can help children understand when they are having these feelings, they will build resilience and be equipped with the tools they need to navigate a world where they are increasingly exposed to unrealistic images of perfection and in danger of measuring their own worth by how they stack up against others.
