Wild Imagination is a new alternative to vacation care. Get kids outside, and allow them to spend their school holidays in nature!
These school holiday events are based almost entirely outdoors. Kids will hang out in tents instead of classrooms, play with sticks and bugs instead of pens and paper, use nature in craft activities, build things in the Inventors Playground and (just quietly) have great fun!
These events are for parents who would love their kids to spend more time in nature and those who need full day care for them during the school holidays.
KIDS ONLY EVENTS | FULL DAY | FOR KIDS 5-10 YEARS
Each school holidays, Wild Imagination select a site that offers an abundance of nature to use as the base for their event. They then securely fence the entire site and hire in quality toilets for guests (no portaloos here!) The play space is set up with mud play, nature crafts, loose parts play, and tents that serve as the home base for children.
The kids only events are for primary school aged children. Due to the range of activities planned, it is recommend for kids between 5 – 10 years old. Although children up to 12 years are allowed, they might not find the activities age appropriate, but this is at the parents’ discretion.

FAMILY EVENTS | 3-HOUR SESSIONS | FOR KIDS 2+ YEARS
Kids will play with clay and mud, make stuff with sticks and ropes, play with dirt and bugs, use nature in craft activities, build things in the Inventors Playground and have great fun! These events are for the parents who want to go along and join in the nature-filled fun on offer. While qualified staff will be available to give you guidance, parents are required to supervise their children at all times.

Summer School Holiday Event Schedule:
THE DETAILS
EVENT TIMES | There are two sessions per day. The morning session runs from 9am until 12pm, and the afternoon session starts at 1pm and finishes at 4pm. You’ll need to book your ticket in advance and provide them with a range of information about your child. No tickets will be sold at the gate. They take the utmost care in providing a fun, safe and engaging event experience to both the children and the parents.
WHAT TO EXPECT | You will be greeted at the entrance gates, where staff will require your ticket from Eventbrite. One ticket allows entry for one child and one adult. Only ticket holders will be able to enter the event site. A map with directions for entry will be provided to ticket holders via email prior to the event. Each day they will offer a different activity, along with the usual play elements. A taste of some of the activities include yoga, making seed bombs, an obstacle course, mud sports, slip and slides and lots of other fun things.
