Wilderness Escape Outdoor Adventures is the largest provider of school camps, excursions and outdoor pursuits in South Australia and one of the largest on a national scale.
Wilderness Escape will also be running a number of exciting and adventurous school holiday programs this year. Designed for participants from 8-13 years of age, the holiday programs are a great opportunity for kids to hang out with their mates and meet some new ones.

School Holiday Program 1 | Woodhouse Adventure Day | 14 December 2015
A fun day for 8-12 year olds with some survival-focussed activities including cubby building, camouflage games and the infamous Challenge Hill obstacle course.
Based at the Woodhouse Activity Centre, this is an adventurous day for younger participants aged between 8 and 12 years of age. Over the day the participants will be involved in some survival focussed activities including survival shelter (cubby) building, camouflage games (nature hide and seek) and the infamous Challenge Hill obstacle course. School Holiday Program 2 | Port Noarlunga Holiday Program | 15 December 2015
A great day out for 8-12 year olds with surf safety and boogie boarding sessions as well as beach games and sand sculptures before testing survival skills with raft building!
This school holidays Wilderness Escape Camps will be providing an adventurous day for younger participants aged between 8 and 12 years of age. Over the day the participants will be involved in surf safety and boogie boarding sessions as well as beach games and sand sculptures before testing their survival skills whilst working as a team building a raft. All activities will be run in the Port Noarlunga area.
When: 15 December 2015 | 8am – 4pm

School Holiday Program 3 | Hindmarsh Island Camp | 14 – 16 December 2015
Suited to 8-10 and 11-13 year olds. This 3 day camp includes camp craft and group initiative tasks, teaching fun survival skills and problem solving techniques in the wilderness. Other activities include learning to surf and sail and test their skills in building a raft and escaping the island.
This program has a focus on camp craft and group initiative tasks for 8-10 years teaching them survival skills and problem solving techniques in the wilderness. The 11-13 year olds will love the hands on aspect of learning to surf and sail during the warm summer months and will have the chance to test their skills in building a raft and escaping the island.
Activities include:
- Bush and survival skills
- Billy cart
- Raft building
- Sailing
- Surfing
‘Little Eagle’ campsite is on Hindmarsh Island just outside of Goolwa. The campsite’s facilities include showers, toilets, kitchen, outdoor playing areas and a large hall in case of bad weather. It is a wonderful setting amongst tall pine trees allowing you to be surrounded by nature. It is a great base for the program.
