WOMADelaide – ‘the world’s festival’, has an extraordinary program for its 2014 festival of music, arts and dance to be held in Adelaide’s Botanic Park, from Friday 7 to Monday 10 March 2014.

The program for WOMADelaide 2014 is packed with amazing artists, KidZone, street theatre, workshops, Artists in Conversation, Taste the World and more!
Heading an incredible global list of artists with the already announced Billy Bragg, Arrested Development and Emel Mathlouthi is Afrobeat superstar, Nigeria’s thrilling Femi Kuti and The Positive Force.

Botanic Park will again host a myriad of off‐stage events including the exclusive Australian premiere of one of the world’s most stunning and large scale contemporary video art installations ‐ David Michalek’s Slow Dancing which feature some of the dance world’s most amazing artists on three giant screens.

In the finest tradition of WOMADelaide as ‘the world’s festival’, audiences of all ages will enjoy an immensely diverse and entertaining cultural experience as they discover more than 500 artists and speakers from 25 countries across four glorious days.

For families there is the amazing KidZone area which is full of fun for the kids. Just take a look at our pictures and review of the 2013 WOMAD here and you’ll see what we mean. Our kids had the most wonderful time last year and all activities in KidZone are FREE. Also children aged 12 years and under have FREE entry to WOMADelaide when accompanied by a paying adult, so they get in free and all the activities are free too.
