After sell out seasons in the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and a National tour Amity Dry’s hit cabaret ‘39 Forever’ is back for the 2021 Adelaide Fringe now with added GST!
Amity Dry enthralled audiences back in 2017 with her laugh out loud comedy about her upcoming 40th birthday, receiving rave reviews for her raw, honest and hilarious take on ageing in an image obsessed world. Now, 3.9 years later she’s back to answer if turning 40 really does make you invisible or is, in fact, the best decade ever.
With the same 80’s and 90’s soundtrack and trademark humour and honesty audiences loved, but with the added bonus of 4 years of experience this is the same hit show but with a new ending. So if you still feel like you’re 25 even though your birthdate stubbornly insists you’re not, if you get a fright when you catch your own reflection or have enquired about Botox ‘for a friend’ this is the show for you.
