Pop up Ice Skating Rink in Adelaide this Winter
The pop up ice rink that opened for the July school holidays in Noarlunga Central has decided to stay open and continue to offer ice skating for families every weekend for the rest of winter, with sessions starting from 10am each Saturday and Sunday.
For many winters we’ve had the pleasure of ice skating in Adelaide at various pop-up ice skating rinks in the city, at Glenelg and Port Adelaide, yet this is the first time an ice skating rink has operated in the south since the Noarlunga Ice Skating Rink on David Witton Drive closed in 2016.
The pop-up ice skating rink is operated by Winter Magic Ice Skating and Tobogganing and located in the old Masters building at Colonnades Shopping Centre’s eastern end (bordered by Goldsmith Drive and Jackson Place).
The rink is also taking bookings for birthday parties during the next two months, with parties to have their own hostess to help them on the ice and play games. Call 0444 555 451 to make a booking.
Cost for 1 hour session:
- General Admission $19
- Child 6-14 yrs $16
- Child 3-5 yrs $11
- Family of 4 $56
- Parent and toddler $25
Skaters are encouraged to wear warm clothes and gloves.
