Yanyarrie Reserve, Edwardstown
As part of the City of Marion’s playground upgrades, Yanyarrie Reserve has a new $359,000 playground in 2021. Highlights of the new build include a basket swing suspended from a 4.5 metre high tower, a trike track, 3 on 3 basketball and netball court and kick ball on the lawn.
After resident consultation was undertaken by the City of Marion to find out playground needs in May 2020, landscape designers have included the following design features:
- Younger Children’s play equipment
- 360° Gyro basket swing
- Boulder Climbing
- Nature Play
- Retain existing fence
There will also be:
- A trike track
- 3 on 3 basketball
- Netball court
- Lawn to kick a ball
