Babes in Arms @ Event Cinemas

There are many pre-baby activities that take a back seat once you become a parent, and movies are definitely one of them!  Staying up late enough for an evening film can be almost impossible and not everyone has the luxury of a babysitting option during the day or night.

At Event Cinemas catching the latest flick with a baby or toddler in tow is an option you can take advantage of.  Babes in Arms is a weekly session that shows a selected movie and invites you to bring your little ones too.  Movie ratings vary with a mixture of movies shown and children under four are admitted free.  The cinema staff dim the lights so that you can still see what you are doing when feeding etc.

“Babes in Arms sessions are special screenings for parents who may have a squirming, gurgling, fidgeting, bawling bundle of joy who may be the most beautiful baby in the world but not the best possible movie companion…. And it’s not just mums who are welcome. Any adult carer – mum, dad, grandma, grandpa, auntie, uncle and the babysitter are all welcome”.

Babes in Arms sessions are not held during school holidays.  Prams are not allowed to be taken into the cinema.
