Adelaide Botanic Garden’s stacked School Holiday Program program is back this October, with a range of activities suitable for 5-12 year olds kicking off on Tuesday 4 October!
Activities have been designed to promote fun, hands-on learning about plants, people and the environment, and parents are encouraged to book early for activities that require bookings – spots will sell out! There are two free activities where you can simply rock up. All children must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver at all times.
Activities include creating fresh and healthy food from produce in the kitchen garden, joining Charles Darwin on a musical adventure exploring the relationship between birds and their habitats, and making cute critters out of curious botanic bits (like seedpods and leaves) found around the garden.
Visit the Botanic Gardens of South Australia website here for the full schedule and booking information.
