Bravehearts 777 Marathon Adelaide
A mighty physical and mental challenge, where every day people and athletes alike take on 7 Marathons in 7 States in 7 Days.
Australia’s iconic endurance event, the Bravehearts 777 Marathon, is back for its eighth year with a mission to encourage more Australians to take on the physical challenge and fundraise – in a bid to prevent child sexual abuse. Bravehearts is a leading Australian child protection organisation focused on creating a world where people, communities and systems all work together to protect children from child sexual abuse.
Join Bravehearts’ 777 Marathon when it lands in Adelaide on Tuesday 28 June. Registrations are now open for individuals or teams to run or walk the 7km, 14km, 21.1km, or 42.2km distances.
State Runners:
Being a 777 State Runner is a great way to get involved without committing to the entire 7 marathons in 7 states in 7 days. Instead, you just run one leg of the 777 marathon in your chosen state. You choose your distance – 7km, 14km, 21.1km or 42.2km. Your run will be officially timed and you’ll get a medal for your efforts.

Start Location: Jimmy Melrose Park – S Esplanade, Glenelg
Parking: Marina Pier Car Park – street and secure parking
Start Time: 7am
Cut off time: 1:30pm

Virtual Runners:
The Virtual Challenge is to walk or run 7km every day for 7 days in 7 virtual states, completing the 777 courses virtually from Perth to Gold Coast. You could do this on a treadmill, at the beach, in a park or exploring your local community to complete this virtual challenge.
Registration is completely free but a Participation medal is available for purchase at $25.

National Runners:
Marathon National Runners travel together as a ‘team’ over 7 consecutive days, traversing the country running one marathon a day with a support team to take care of everything. Travel, accommodation and food are all coverved by Bravehearts. In return, National Runners raise $10,000 to go towards Bravehearts’ work in preventing and treating child sexual abuse.
Runners have several months in the lead up to the event to reach their fundraising goal, as well as support from Bravehearts’ Fundraising Team.
