Get creative at Monarto Safari Park with Art in the Park, a FREE self-guided school holiday adventure for kids aged 4–14, with plenty for grown-ups to enjoy too!
With a free activity booklet in hand, participants can set off across the park to discover 12 incredible artworks inspired by wildlife and the natural world. Spot sculptures, murals and more, complete fun art-inspired challenges along the way, and see Monarto Safari Park through a whole new creative lens.
Then, guests can put their observation skills to the test with the Monarto Great Race! Answer the questions in your booklet for your chance to WIN a $100 Zoos SA retail voucher.

Daily Keeper Talks
Learn about the park’s unique animals from the dedicated keepers who care for them. Find out incredible facts about the different species around the park and see them. See the full schedule at the booking link.
All keeper talks are Auslan translated and audio described.
With 70% of the species at Monarto threatened or vulnerable to extinction in the wild, your visit is helping Zoos SA continue vital conservation work saving species from extinction.
Home to over 500 animals and with daily free keeper presentations, a day out at Monarto is fun for the whole family. Remember, littlies under four years of age are free!

Pre-booking is required for all non-members before your visit. Zoos SA members are not required to pre-book.
