A recipe for wild fun at Monarto Safari Park during the April School Holidays!
These school holidays families are invited to enjoy a flavour-filled learning adventure at Monarto Safari Park.
Visitors can pick up their Safari Foods Recipe Book on arrival and explore the park as they discover what different species eat and why it supports their health and wellbeing. From grazing herbivores to powerful predators, each stop reveals something new.
There’s just one catch. Some of the recipes are missing an ingredient.
As they explore, guests follow their booklet to complete activities, uncover clues and decode the missing ingredients. By solving the puzzles to finish the recipes, they can take them home and recreate their own wild-inspired treats!
Perfect for families, this interactive experience brings together fun, learning and discovery.
Monarto Safari Park is open every day of the school holidays 9:30am – 5pm
Daily Keeper Talks
Learn about the park’s unique animals from the dedicated keepers who care for them. Find out incredible facts about the different species around the park and see them. See the full schedule at the booking link.
All keeper talks are Auslan translated and audio described.

Pre-booking is now required for all non-members before your visit. (Zoos SA members are not required to pre-book)
With 70% of the species at Monarto threatened or vulnerable to extinction in the wild, your visit is helping Zoos SA continue vital conservation work saving species from extinction.
Home to over 500 animals and with daily free keeper presentations, a day out at Monarto is fun for the whole family. Remember, littlies under four years of age are free!
