Discover Ancient Animals at Monarto Safari Park during the School Holidays!
Journey back millions of years these school holidays and discover the ancient animals that inspired some of Monarto Safari Park’s incredible wildlife!
Visitors can meet the mighty Woolly Mammoth and its closest living relative, the Asian Elephant, uncover what T. rex and African Lions have in common, and see how prehistoric giants evolved into the amazing animals roaming the park today.
Along the way, little visitors can complete a prehistoric scavenger quest, enjoy dinosaur and Ice Age-themed activities, and uncover the incredible story of evolution on a wild adventure the whole family will love!
Monarto Safari Park is open every day of the school holidays 9:30am – 5pm
Daily Keeper Talks
Learn about the park’s unique animals from the dedicated keepers who care for them. Find out incredible facts about the different species around the park and see them. See the full schedule at the booking link.
All keeper talks are Auslan translated and audio described.
BOOKINGS
Pre-booking is now required for all non-members before your visit. (Zoos SA members are not required to pre-book)
With 70% of the species at Monarto threatened or vulnerable to extinction in the wild, your visit is helping Zoos SA continue vital conservation work saving species from extinction.
Home to over 500 animals and with daily free keeper presentations, a day out at Monarto is fun for the whole family. Remember, littlies under four years of age are free!
