Cirkidz School Holiday Programs – Review

Kids can try Cirkidz school holiday circus programs. It’s a great way for them to burn some energy and learn amazing new skills!

Cirkidz offer a comprehensive school holiday program, with half day and full day options available. A discount applies if you book a full day (morning and afternoon session). Each session focuses on a different set of skills, and most sessions are aimed at children aged 5-12 years. The exception is the parkour sessions, better suited to 8-12 year olds. Participants will be given an opportunity to learn aerial skills on the trapeze, silks and lyra (Soar and More), acrobatics and tumbling (Off the Wall), run, jump, vault and climb (Cirkour), juggling, hula and tumbling (Circus Smorgasboard), circus games and challenges (Ready, Set, Circus) or a mixed bag of circus related fun (Circus Pick’ n’ Mix). With so many options you really can’t go wrong! 

The holiday programs are very physical – kids will be running, jumping, balancing and spinning for hours on end. Meal breaks are suddenly quiet, with kids scarfing down their snacks and lunch – they’ve burned THAT much energy.

There are plenty of qualified and helpful instructors, ensuring that all kids learn safely and have the opportunity to try everything. The format is flexible, allowing kids the chance to really delve into the skills that they want to develop. The kids quickly develop a sense of camaraderie, cheering on new friends as they master each apparatus. The program is interspersed with games that encourage teamwork and problem-solving. There were huge smiles on every kid’s face at the end of the session we attended!

Cirkidz headquarters is conveniently located in Bowden near Plant 4, with ample parking between Second and Third Streets.

So if you are seeking a fun school activity that will challenge your kids, help them to learn new skills, give them opportunities to make new friends and push themselves physically… we can’t recommend Cirkidz more!
