ASFM Big Splash: Uniting the Community to Support South Australian Families in Need
The Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market (ASFM) is proud to announce ASFM Big Splash for Puddle Jumpers, an extraordinary community-driven initiative aimed at providing vital support to South Australian children and their families during this cold winter season.
This heartfelt endeavour is a direct response to the call made by Puddle Jumpers, a local organisation dedicated to assisting vulnerable children in South Australia.
“We are urgently in need of warm things for winter, we have had such an increase in people doing it tough! So many sad stories and we are so over the moon to have the Adelaide Farmers’ Market’s help collecting items for us! Thank you so much for helping us help more people,” said Melanie Tate, the CEO & Founder of Puddle Jumpers Incorporated.
In the spirit of solidarity and compassion, ASFM Big Splash will bring together their vibrant market community to rally behind this critical cause. They are eagerly engaging their valued customers, stallholders, and the wider Adelaide community by inviting you to join them and make a powerful impact together. By uniting in support of Puddle Jumpers, we can create a wave of generosity and provide essential assistance to those in need.
“We firmly believe in the power of community and the profound impact we can make when we unite for a shared purpose,” said, Christine Robertson OAM, the Executive Officer of the Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market (ASFM). “Inspired by Puddle Jumpers’ call for help, we are organising ASFM Big SPLASH to create a wave of compassion, ensuring that no child in South Australia is left to face the winter without the essentials that we all take for granted.”
ASFM Big Splash invites everyone to donate winter goods, including warm clothing, blankets, sleeping bags and accessories, to help alleviate the hardships faced by vulnerable children and their families. By joining forces, you can help to provide warmth, comfort, and much-needed support to those young doing it tough in our state.
