The One Tree Hill Community Day will help celebrate the incredible transformation of McGilp Recreation Park.
This major upgrade has turned One Tree Hill’s only sport and recreation space into a modern, accessible and family-friendly hub. It’s now time for the community to come together and enjoy everything it has to offer.
Activities on the day include:
- A vibrant school art exhibition
- Farm animals for the little ones
- A rock climbing wall for the adventurous
- An interactive activity trail
- A sizzling community BBQ
- Market stalls showcasing local talent
- Come-and-try sports sessions on the new facilities
- Scouts hosting fun outdoor activities
- Explore the new space, meet local sporting clubs, and find out how you and your family can get involved.
McGilp Recreation Park
McGilp Recreation Park is home to the One Tree Hill Sports Association for cricket, soccer and tennis. Outside facilities such as the cricket nets and sports fields are available for public use, however priority access is given to official club training and competition, or for groups with a temporary permit.
