Gawler Ambulance Station Community Open Day | 17 Aug 2025

SA Ambulance Service is excited to host a community open day at their brand new Gawler Ambulance Station.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the purpose-built facility, participate in family friendly activities and enjoy a complimentary sausage sizzle.  There will be face painting for the kids, CPR demonstrations and the opportunity to meet with local paramedics.

A vintage ambulance display will also be featured, offering a glimpse into the history of ambulance services in South Australia.

The new Gawler Ambulance Station replaces the existing Gawler ambulance station at Murray Street, Gawler and will house the additional 12-paramedic 24/7 emergency ambulance crew that came online late last December.

The new station at Main North Road will improve emergency coverage in the north and neighbouring regional regions while ensuring existing response areas are still covered by providing ambulance crews with more immediate access to important roads and highways.
