Quench Café | Modbury North | Review
Quench Café – a non- profit faith-based café that delivers community vibes, family fun and warm service.
Review by Angelica-Hazel
Quench café is an awesome spot tucked away in the suburb of Modbury North inside the Clovercrest Baptist Church building. It is a thriving hub of activity and a much loved non-profit faith based café that serves the community so well. It is a warm and welcoming space that fosters connections, inclusivity and kindness to all. All of these factors make it a popular choice for families in the know and the perfect place for breakfast, lunch or coffee catch ups with kids in tow.

Quench is spacious, clean and offers both indoor and outdoor dining, a kid friendly menu that is also reasonably priced and two dedicated areas for babies/toddlers and children. What makes Quench so appealing to families is that it is a step above a café with a kids corner but also calmer and less of a sensory overload than a full blown kids play café. Next to the indoor table and chairs is a soft play space for babies and toddlers. Then directly next door to that in a separate room with floor to ceiling windows is an indoor netted playground. The entire set up is so well laid out as kids can play in their age appropriate areas and parents can clearly see their children and are close enough to assist them when needed.

Looking at the café side of things, Quench offers barista made coffee from local roasters 1645 and enticing coffee and cake meal deals. They also have toasties, chicken nuggets and chips, kids nibble plates and healthy salad options too. The service is quick and the food is delicious with options to suit gluten free diners, vegetarians and fussy children too.

Quench is also a great space for private functions, they can cater to light lunches or platters for parties and have ample space for kids of different ages to enjoy. There are tables of two, four and more set up inside, lots of high chairs and comfortable couches on the side great for nursing babies.

Bottom line, if you are seeking somewhere to take your children for a play, a bite to eat and a good coffee for yourself, Quench has you covered.
