Giant kites. Bursts of colour. Bubbles everywhere. The skies above the Summit Sport and Recreation Park in Mount Barker are set to look a little different and absolutely amazing this November.
Summit Skies is landing on Sunday 8 November 2026 for a free family day with plenty happening above your head and at ground level.
The Adelaide Kite Flyers Association will be taking over the skies with a spectacular display of giant kites soaring, swooping and dancing overhead.
The day will also feature kite and wind chime making, a Ferris wheel, bubble shows, balloon twisting, market stalls and plenty of food.
Or bring a picnic rug, find a patch of grass and simply sit back and enjoy the show.
Summit Skies is all about getting outdoors and bringing people together. It’s also another way to open up the Summit Sport and Recreation Park precinct for the whole community to enjoy.
Entry to this event is free.
