Etsy Adelaide’s First Christmas Market!
The biggest online handmade marketplace will become a real market for the first time in Adelaide this Christmas. Etsy Adelaide is collaborating with Flinders Street Market for a Christmas pop-up market extravaganza.
Flinders Street Market and Etsy Adelaide have formed a festive alliance to bring a wonderful Christmas Grand Bazaar to the heart of the city. These two icons of the handmade scene have sourced the finest makers and crafters from all over South Australia.
The Christmas Grand Bazaar Market will showcase over 100 stalls of Adelaide’s most remarkable gift makers. In addition to many well known local artists, designers and crafters, there will be over 40 stalls of artists who will be debuting their wares in public forum (even though they may have huge online followings on Etsy).
The market will be in the heart of Adelaide at three undercover shed areas full to the brim of Adelaide’s best local gifts. This will be the perfect destination to discover one-of-a-kind gifts for Christmas and there’s a free goody bag for the first 200 people to visit the Etsy stand.
There will be loads of exciting entertainment for kids and families, a roving art caravan, a gift wrapping bay and lots of great food to try from our local foodies offering great Christmas menus and hampers to take home.
The market will include a large range of modern jewellery and accessories, fashionable home wares made from ceramic, glass, wood and metalwork, handmade paper products, as well as a great range of handmade tree decorations, bunting, gift wrap and cards. There will be a huge range of handmade kids gifts too – everything from clothing to toys and games.
It’s beginning to look a lot like a handmade Christmas!
