It is summer and it is Christmas time folks, that means it is time to gather and celebrate together for the wonderful Christmas Street Food Festival at Flinders Street Market.
Street food lovers UNITE for this exciting weekend devoted to tasty cuisine of the world! ‘Street food’ is ready-to-eat food, drinks and desserts sold by colourful hawkers or charismatic vendors, often from a portable food booth, food cart or food truck. Everybody loves it because it is cheap, exotic and soooo tasty! There will be some festive surprises, great music and lots of fun to be had at this event.
Come and enjoy some Christmas cheer amongst the community and experience ethnic cuisines that you never knew existed. There will be a fine selection of local artists/crafters stalls at this market, as well as a live music and bar.
