The Stitches & Craft Show is back at the Adelaide Showground!
Calling craft lovers of Adelaide! Australia’s original craft show, The Stitches & Craft Show, will be here for its 2nd year at the Adelaide Showground from 5 – 7 May.
The show will include a huge variety of expert retailers, unique classes for handmade projects and gifts, exhibitions, free educational workshops, guest artist displays, DIY craft ideas and much more.
Sharing their expert knowledge at the show will be award-winning guest artists, Rainie Williams and Natalie May
Weaving is one of the main ways to create fabric – and weaving by hand with a simple loom is a relaxing and creative way to make beautiful hangings for your wall or small items like scarves. Rainie Williams is mad about weaving and has designed some beautiful bamboo looms to help people get started. Rainie will be at the show as a guest artist. Don’t miss Rainie’s mini-workshops at the stand, and check out her tiny looms, round looms and drop spindle.
Guest paper artist, Natalie May will demonstrate lots of papercraft techniques including scrapbooking, mixed media, art journalling, card making, tag-making and other art-based techniques. Join Natalie for a mini-workshop for only $5.
Other highlights of the show will include a daily fashion show, an amazing 10m long freeform installation of a knit and crochet flower garden, a textile art exhibition and styling tips and tricks from vintage styling maven, Miss Chrissy Keepence.
For those looking to expand their craft knowledge, The Stitches & Craft Show will offer a fantastic range of new tutorials and the latest workshops led by industry experts. Along with up-to-date tips and techniques, attendees can learn skills such as patchworking, quilting techniques, scrapbooking, embroidery and much more.
Not only for the adult craft-enthusiasts, youngster will be kept entertained at The Stitches & Craft Show thanks to a special kids’ corner, The Crafty Cat Corner featuring free colouring-in pages.
With something for every craft lover, The Stitches & Craft Show will be sure to delight and inspire audiences both young and old!
