The South Australian Children’s Ballet Company’s 2014 October Season features the “world premiere” of a new piece choreographed by Paul Boyd, “a FROZEN tale, the Ballet”.

Paul Boyd, internationally renowned choreographer, has given new life to this timeless story inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Snow Queen”.  This tale of love, friendship and betrayal is presented by the inspiring young dancers of the South Australian Children’s Ballet Company.

The princesses, Elsa and Anna, dance their way through the years experiencing playfulness, fear, enchantment, loss, grief and love. The deceitful Prince Hans and devoted Kristoff show their true intentions, and cheeky Olaf the snowman comes to life, and is sure to melt the coldest of hearts.

Follow Time, the narrator, as she takes you on a journey through sun, ice and snow with the trolls, snowflakes and townsfolk from Arendelle, and delight in the ultimate “true act of love”, and all the joy and magic that comes with it.
