2025 fringe poster competition

The biggest arts festival in the Southern Hemisphere, Adelaide Fringe, is excited to announce that the 2025 Poster Competition is officially open for submissions with a $10,000 cash prize up for grabs.

The iconic festival is on the lookout for a design that encapsulates this year’s theme, “One for all and all for one”. The Adelaide Fringe Poster Competition over the decades has showcased many talented artists and designers, including iconic Australian artist Pro Hart (1982), cartoonist Michael Atchison (1984), Bronwyn Platten (1988), Driller Jet Armstrong (1990), painter Matthew Clarke (2019), contemporary Aboriginal artist Mali Isabel (2022) and multi-disciplinary visual artist Rebecca Davis (2024).

Participants are invited to create a poster that reflects the vibrant and communal spirit of Adelaide Fringe. Whether you’re a seasoned professional, a budding artist, or a creative hobbyist, Adelaide Fringe wants to see how you interpret this year’s theme.

The Adelaide Fringe 2025 season will take place from Friday 21 February to Sunday 23 March 2025.

The winner of the 2025 Poster Competition will receive a $10,000 cash prize thanks to Lumo Energy SA, free registration for an exhibition at Adelaide Fringe, and extensive media coverage ahead of and during the 2025 festival.
