Summer holidays guitar program
Building on the outstanding response for the Adelaide Guitar Festival Orchestra in 2014, the Adelaide Guitar Festival Summer School (AGFSS) will be a week of intensive, immersive classical guitar playing and skills development.
A team of highly respected and inspirational guitar teachers from around the country, plus international guests, will work with students on individual technique and ensemble skills in a range of configurations throughout the week.
There are no auditions, but participants will be expected to have a minimum skill level equivalent to AMEB Grade 3, and programs will be tailored to all skill levels through to advanced players.
Up to 6 advanced players will be selected by AGFSS to have an individual masterclass with our international guest tutors. Other participants will observe the masterclasses.
All participants will be entitled to a place in the 2016 Adelaide Guitar Festival Orchestra performing on Sunday 14th August in the Adelaide Town Hall, subject to attendance at rehearsals.
Tutors include Dr Paul Svoboda, Richard Charlton, Oliver Fartach-Naini, Andras Tuske, Slava Grigoryan
International Guest Tutors include Massimo Scattolin & Andrea Vettoretti (Italy)
