Time to get the knitting needles out!

Adelaide Knitting Together (AKT) is an existing group of crafters who have a new home in the City Library during the winter months. They help each other to learn new skills in an informal way in the same fashion as the North Adelaide Community Centre’s Crochet Group.

Adelaide Knitting Together started in 2003 and the group is always on the lookout for new members.

Who is welcome to join Adelaide Knitting Together?

Anyone with an interest in knitting, crafts and community is invited to join:

  • city residents
  • workers
  • students
  • migrants
  • families; and
  • visitors to Adelaide.

All ages and genders are welcome. Parents are asked to supervise their own children.

There is no fee to join, but attendees are asked to bring their own supplies and existing projects to work on.
