Hop to the Market on Easter Sunday for some Farmers’ Market Easter Fun!
The Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market will open and celebrate Easter Sunday with a fun filled Easter Egg Hunt, face painting, and even a visit from the Easter Bunny.
The Market will be open from 8.30am for farm-fresh shopping, coffee, breakfast, and hot cross buns. While you shop for farm fresh seasonal produce, the kids can hunt for Easter eggs (limited spots, so be early to arrive).
Keep a lookout for the Easter Bunny who will be making a special appearance!
Shop for freshly baked hot cross buns, local farm-fresh produce, South Aussie milk, artisanal cheeses, gluten-free goodies, and tempting sweet treats galore. Have a browse, grab a coffee, and buy a bunch of beautiful flowers for the table. You will be able to find everything you need for an Easter Sunday feast.
Make it a family morning outing with face painting, kids’ activities, and plenty of space to explore. The market is the perfect place for a relaxed start to your Easter Sunday.
Wilbur’s Wildlife
Wilbur’s Wildlife is returning to the market this Easter with another wonderful mix of furry, scaly and fascinating native animals to meet up close.
These relaxed, hands-on encounters give children and adults the chance to learn about Australia’s native wildlife, how these animals live, and the challenges they face in the wild. All animals are part of Wilbur’s Wildlife’s extended family, with animal welfare always coming first.
You’ll find Wilbur’s Wildlife set up under the big verandah near the Information Stand from 9.30-11.30am, making it easy to drop by as you wander the market.
A special Easter treat for curious kids, animal lovers and anyone keen to learn more about our incredible native fauna.
Meet the Easter Bunny
From 9am to 11am the Easter Bunny will be hopping around the market. Don’t miss your chance for a photo before he bounces away!
