The day will be packed with non-stop flying action provided by big-name aerobatic champions, a large contingent of vintage aircraft and the RAAF.
What promises to be the biggest and best airshow ever held south of Adelaide, the 2024 event will showcase the amazing aerobatic talent of Matt Hall and Emma McDonald.
Matt Hall, a former Red Bull Air Race World Champion and former Top Gun F15 & F/A-18 Fighter Pilot with Emma McDonald, an accomplished aerobatic pilot and aviation rising star, are set to captivate spectators with their amazing aerial manoeuvres and precision flying skills.
The Aldinga Airshow 2024 is promoting Women in Aviation.
The organisers of the Aldinga Airshow are delighted to announce that Catriona Rowntree will be attending the 2024 Airshow to support them in promoting Women in Aviation. Catriona is a well-known celebrity best known for her two decades as a presenter and world traveller on the TV Series Getaway. But did you know that Catriona is also a private pilot and very passionate about promoting and encouraging more females to take up flying as a career?
In addition to the action in the sky there will be unique aircraft and classic car static displays, 50+ local market stalls and more than 15 food and beverage trucks, plus a licensed area.
This family-friendly event will have lots of activities for the children too, including a bouncy castle obstacle course, free animal petting zoo and Bumbles the Clown with his animal balloons.
Aldinga Airport is the perfect location for aviators and spectators alike. The backdrop of adjacent hills and vines makes it a photographer’s dream.
