BASIL HETZEL INSTITUTE FREE PUBLIC TOUR

The Hospital Research Foundation would like the general public to have the opportunity to be part of world-leading health and medical research that is improving and saving the lives of your own family and friends.

This exciting research is happening right here in South Australia.

From 10am – 11:30am on Friday 12 February 2016, the Hospital Research Foundation invite you on a free guided tour of The Basil Hetzel Institute for Translational Health Research, consisting of a presentation by their researcher, followed by a tour of the laboratory and morning tea.

This is a great chance to learn about how research undertaken in your community is helping your own family and friends.

The Hospital Research Foundation supports people in hospitals across South Australia through vital health and medical research and improved patient care, thanks to generous support from people like you.

Their Community Awareness Program gives you the opportunity to learn about common diseases and illnesses affecting the people you love, and the projects their dedicated research teams are working on to improve treatments, care and ultimately find cures.

If you cannot attend this date or any of our other Free Public Tours, they can organise a tour for a bigger group of 10 or more, or can come to your next community group meeting/gathering.

Bookings are essential, please call Lidia on (08) 8244 1100 to secure your spot.
