Nature Festival Returns to South Australia in 2026 with the Theme “SEED”
Nature Festival returns to South Australia from 25 September to 11 October 2026, bringing hundreds of nature-inspired events, outdoor experiences and family activities to locations across the state.
The 2026 Nature Festival theme is SEED – representing new beginnings, growth, connection, renewal and possibility. Inspired by the cycles of nature, the theme celebrates the small beginnings that grow into something meaningful, encouraging South Australians to connect with and take responsibility for the natural world around them.
Following another hugely successful festival featuring more than 400 events across South Australia, families can once again look forward to a packed program of nature activities for kids and adults alike. Previous events have included butterfly adventures, cubby building, nature play, weaving workshops, scavenger hunts, fairy door trails, cultural storytelling, guided walks and twilight microbat experiences.
Nature Festival has become one of South Australia’s most loved spring events, encouraging people of all ages to explore parks, gardens, beaches, forests and community spaces through immersive outdoor experiences.
