Bowerbird is Adelaide’s leading design event held twice a year at the Adelaide Showground in May and November with a focus on South Australia.
Some of the state’s leading independent designers are brought together all under one roof for Bowerbird, with artisanal makers as well as established brands from all over Australia selected to suit a wide range of buyers and budgets.
Across three days enjoy the best of South Australia’s creatives, along with artisan food and craft beverages.
Bowerbird is a hub of creativity with exceptional brands across accessories, skincare, stationery, clothing, art, homewares, jewellery, kids’ toys and pantry treats. From glass blowing, clay throwing, silversmithing to sweet treats, fashion and so much more, Bowerbird celebrates the very broad talents of our Australian small creative business community.
Parking and Transport:
Park on the street or in the Adelaide Showground Carpark accessed via Rose Terrace. There is no access to parking via Leader Street. Please note some parking is paid. The Adelaide Showground is serviced by bus, train and tram.

Bowerbird’s November event celebrates 15 years since its debut in October 2009. In celebration of the milestone, an exciting weekend of activities and exclusive offers await. Visitors can look forward to special promotions from a variety of on-site brands, including bundle deals, limited edition items and gifts with select purchases. The festivities will kick off with some Bowerbird goodies:
- 2-for-1 Entry on Friday night—bring a friend, grab a bubbles and dive into the latest creations.
- Golden Ticket prizes all weekend – Every designer has a golden ticket to give away over the weekend. Once you receive a ticket and register it using the QR code, you’ll go into the daily prize draws.
- A visit from Santa – Throughout the weekend, children and families are invited to write and drop off their letters to Santa. Then, on Sunday, visitors will have the chance to meet Santa in his workshop for a gold coin donation with proceeds going to Catherine House. Make sure to take your camera for the perfect photo opportunity.
Bowerbird recommends contactless payments – all vendors will provide card payment facilities. No cash will be accepted for entry ticket purchases at the door.
