Ignite your endorphins in the bush on Saturday 10 of September.

Get up close with wildlife, plant trees, pull weeds and enjoy guided walks and morning tea. You will be improving habitat for native frogs along the creekline by removing nasturtiums, tangier pea and fumitory which are coming up around the new plantings in addition to pushing the weed front down stream. Come along for a bit of weed whacking and learn about how to propagate plants for your garden. Morialta has 5 different species of native frogs living in the park, and you should be able to hear their calls.

Meet the Green Army team who are currently working in Black Hill, Morialta and Horsnell Gully to restore and protect the habitat of the Chestnut-rumped Heathwren and Southern Brown Bandicoot. There will also be a talk given by the President of the Australian Plants Society SA about the propagation of plants.

Morning tea and a sausage sizzle lunch will provided. Vegetarian and gluten free diets will be catered for, so please let the organisers know your preferences for catering purposes.
