They’re such a fun excuse for a day trip or weekend away, with everything from farm animals, competitions and local produce to rides, showbags, sideshows, food, free entertainment and, at some shows, fireworks too!

Best of all, you’re supporting local communities and small businesses while getting a taste of country life.

We’ve rounded up SA’s country shows to help you plan which ones to visit.

We finally made it to the Urrbrae Barn Market and can’t believe we waited so long! 🌿

Held at Urrbrae Agricultural High School, you’ll find farm-fresh produce grown at the school, baked goodies, plants, arts and crafts, coffee, BBQ snags and plenty of local stalls.

There’s a lovely community feel, and you’re supporting the school while stocking up on some very tasty weekend treats.

📍 First Saturday of most months, February–December | 9am–12pm
