Christmas Lights in Adelaide 2021
WHERE ARE THE BEST STREETS TO SEE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS AROUND ADELAIDE?
We love going to see houses with beautiful Christmas light decorations. Find all the best streets to see Christmas lights in our list below. We’ve put together all the best locations in our guide and you can find them in the Google Map below.
Every year so many homeowners adorn their properties in sparkling lights, making our suburban streets come to life after dusk.
It’s a fabulous FREE family activity to wander along and admire the huge effort some families go to, bringing Christmas cheer to their neighbourhood. The lights are generally on from around 1 December until 31 December (this will vary for individual streets and houses).
As with all events, we encourage everyone to keep social-distancing and wear a face mask when necessary to help keep everyone safe.
It’s a real treat for the kids to be out at night, staying up a bit late. This is one of those times, when you see your child’s face light up with excitement, and you remember how beautiful it is to be in awe and wonderment over Christmas.
And how generous and kind it is for all these lovely people to dress up their houses in Christmas lights and allow so many strangers to walk and drive past every night during the Christmas season.
The photos above are of the lights along Ninth Avenue, ST PETERS. This is a must-see for Christmas lights.
While there are houses dotted all over Adelaide that are lit up beautifully, we do love a whole street where you can get out of the car and take a walk along the footpath to see the lights up close.
