Back to school and back to the circus!
School is back, which means Cirkidz weekly circus arts classes are back too! They run over 20 classes a week in their fully equipped circus centre, catering for ages 2.5 (Tiddlerz) all the way up to our Teenz (10-17’s) classes. They also run adults classes, because why should the kids have all the fun when it comes to Circus?
The classes are run by professional, friendly trainers and are a great way to help improve your child’s confidence and coordination in a non-competitive space and ‘learning through play’ environment. The fully equipped circus centre has trampolines, balancing beams, aerial rings, juggling balls, unicycles and so much more to help your child discover their special circus ability.
Tiddlerz classes (ages 2.5 -5’s) provide an opportunity for your child to learn and play with Mum, Dad or the grandparents in a friendly environment. It is an excellent opportunity for your child to learn new skills in a new environment, while still having the comfort of a parent or guardian to help out.
In the older age groups (5-10’s), they will learn to bounce, tumble, soar, balance and above all smile as they learn incredible new circus skills and make new friends! It is the perfect after school activity to release that extra burst of afternoon energy before hitting the homework.
Teenz (10-17’s) learn how to express themselves creatively and embrace their individuality and focus it into refining their circus crafts. It’s a unique alternative to competitive sports where everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace and try new things. It’s a great way to build and nurture self esteem at a sometimes difficult age where adolescents are finding their place in society.
For the adults, they have aerial classes and general circus class on Tuesdays. These classes are a perfect opportunity to learn new skills, improve fitness and act as a great alternative to a regular gym class.
