Winter is Coming…No Spoilers, But It’s Bringing Some Amazing Circus Fun! Do the kids want to run around but it’s too cold outside? Want to get the kids out of the house but also keep them out of the rain? Help the kids stay active these coming school holidays with circus activities and games inside the fully equipped Circus Centre in Bowden. Cirkidz have 2 amazing holidays programs at Home Base for 5 – 13 year olds.
Cirkidz have four fantastic circus sessions which means there is something for everybody!
This July, Cirkidz are packing the program with heaps of OFF THE WALL, SOAR, AMAZING ACROBATICS and CIRCUS SPECTACULAR sessions. Come for a taste of everything or pick specialised days.
SOAR
It’s all about aerial! Trapeze, tissue silks, cloud swing, hoop and more! Soar will give you the chance to perfect your tricks or learn some new skills. Take to the skies during one of the most popular sessions as you learn from the highly skilled trainers.
CIRCUS SPECTAULAR
With over 55 activities you never know what you will get in this mixed bag of circus fun. Come and try juggling, balancing, aerial, teeterboard and more. See what circus life is all about as you make new friends and have fun!
AMAZING ACROBATICS
Discover acro skills including partner and group balancing, human pyramids, circus games and more! Mix up the session by testing your balance on rola-bola, globe, tight rope, head/ handstands and stilts.
OFF THE WALL
Off the Wall is the newest session, featuring trampolines, teeterboards and a brand new massive foam pit! What else could Cirkidz possibly add to all this circus fun? How about a brand new inflatable wheel trampoline to top it all off! Tumbling, acrobatics, bouncing, rockin’ and rolling! With sprung floors and four kinds of trampoline, huge teeter boards and a massive foam pit (plus plenty of crash mats) this session will see your child bouncing off the wall with excitement!

Lights, Camera, Circus!
Holy acrobats, Batman! Who wouldn’t want to learn some killer acrobatics and then star in their own action movie? Or maybe directing, being a sound engineer or producing is more your budding film maker’s style? Imagine getting to spend a week learning not only cool physical tricks but also technical editing and filming skills! Ummm, yes please! Drop the kids at Bowden each morning and let them spend a week fully immersed in an inspiring and creative space where anything is possible! This is indeed one cool brag-worthy program.

Got friends and family down south? Or do you fancy a day trip? Drop the kids at Centenary Hall, Goolwa and spend some time soaking up the serenity. Cirkidz are headed down to Goolwa and taking the Troupe with them to perform their amazing production We, The Unseen and to hold some cool circus workshops. Be awed by the amazing talents of these young people and then get your kids to give it a go! Get the camera ready as they learn to juggle, tumble, build human pyramids and heaps more!

School holiday programs are run every holiday period onsite at Cirkidz, from half day sessions that allow participants to get a taste of what they do at Cirkidz, to week long programs that offer a full immersion into the world of the circus. With convenient drop off from 8am and pick up available until 5pm, parents and carers won’t need to learn how to juggle their commitments these school holidays.

Hands(tands) up who wants a $10 circus workshop?
Cirkidz are also hosting 1 hour ‘Come ‘n Try‘ sessions at Gilles St Primary School on Monday the 11th and Tuesday the 12th of July between 11am and 2pm. Bring the family, make a day of it, grab lunch in the city, hit the shops and have a fun day out. All participants will also get a free come and try pass for Cirkidz semester classes at Home Base or their Eastern Hub at Payneham, if they haven’t been to the centres before.
Have you been curious about Cirkidz for a while? Get a small taste of what they have to offer and learn the basic techniques of juggling, poi, diablo, flower sticks, hula and more! Have a go at acrobatics, tumbling and top it all off by building a human pyramid! Meet new friends, socialise and bond with your peers as you learn some great skills learning through play.
Some sessions have sold out, so get in quick to secure your child’s spot.
Suitable for ages 5 – 16! Participants will be split into 2 groups dependent on age.
