Cirque du Soleil | TOTEM | 11 June – 12 July 2015

Cirque-Soleil-Totem1

Cirque du Soleil returns to Australia with a spectacular show presented under the much-loved blue and yellow Big Top.  TOTEM traces the awe-inspiring journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly.

The cast features 45 performing artists from 16 countries specialising in many breathtaking acrobatic acts.  TOTEM marks Cirque du Soleil’s second collaboration with acclaimed theatre and film director Robert Lepage following KÁ at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Somewhere between science and legend, TOTEM explores the ties that bind mankind to other species, his dreams and his infinite potential.

”What’s the next level after impressed? Amazed? Awe-struck? Whatever it is, that emotion arrives often in TOTEM… one very sharp show.”  The New York Times

Tickets are now available through the Cirque du Soleil website.  The children’s discount applies to children 2 to 12 years old. Children under 2 years old are permitted to attend for free, but must remain seated on a parent’s lap at all times.  Children are not permitted to be left unattended on the site of Cirque du Soleil. Tickets purchased for children must have an adult seated beside.

Hi Matthew, yes this post is for last year’s show. Sadly it seems that Cirque du Soleil is only visiting Brisbane, Melbourne & Sydney in 2016.
