Gather with family and friends for a magical evening in Hazelwood Park with all your favourite Christmas carols and entertainment.
EDITOR’S NOTE 27 NOVEMBER 2025: CAROLS IN THE PARK CANCELLED: City of Burnside is sorry to announce that the much-loved Carols in the Park has had to be cancelled this Friday 28 November 2025. The weather forecast predicts a very high chance of showers up to 20mm and a chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening. As this is an outdoor event, these conditions may compromise the safety and comfort of our community, performers and staff. Maintaining community safety is our highest priority, and to minimise risk to the public we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Carols in the Park.
There will be food vans, artisan market stalls, free face painting and more. Everyone is welcome to go along for the festivities. Get dressed in your favourite festive gear, take a picnic blanket and experience a night full of music, delicious food and entertainment in the City of Burnside’s beautiful Hazelwood Park.
Gates will be open from 4pm with activities starting from 5pm. This is a FREE community event with no bookings required.

- Free face painting
- Roving character entertainment
- Visits by Santa
- Delicious treats (ice cream, strawberries dipped in chocolate and more)
- Pop up bar for the adults
- Wood fired pizza
- Gourmet picnic platters and desserts
- Live music
- Christmas market stalls
- Raffle to raise funds for the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal
