Curious Christmas at the South Australian Museum
Feeling Curious? Drop into the South Australian Museum to find out all about the Curious Beasts!
Want to step away from the bustle of Christmas preparations? Join in the fun at the South Australian Museum for free, drop-in craft activities in the Museum’s main foyer. Make a Christmas card using stamps inspired by the Curious Beasts exhibition, or a Nathan the Lion Christmas tree ornament.
At 2pm, head to the Museum’s Pacific Culture Gallery for a free performance by the The Adelaide Youth Orchestras, featuring beastly tunes and seasonal favourites.
Plus, one of the curious beasts, Albrecht the Rhino, inspired by Dürer’s Rhinoceros will come to life as he roams around the Museum.
