Curtain Up: Her Majesty’s Theatre Tour

Her Majesty’s Theatre, or The Maj as she’s fondly known, is truly a world class theatre, having just unveiled a $66million redevelopment in June 2020. Located on Grote Street in Adelaide’s Chinatown Precinct, The Maj is managed by Adelaide Festival Centre, making her a part of the family that is ‘The Heart of The Arts’ in South Australia.

“She’s been waiting 107 years for this… now she’s ready to raise the curtain and take you on a tour of her stunning redevelopment.”

On this Curtain Up Tour, guests can see The Maj’s new state-of-the-art facilities along with precious details from the 100+ years of history she has seen. Stand in awe of her new auditorium, unforgettable architectural features and maybe even peek behind the curtain by taking the same walk artists will through back-of-house, including her famous signature wall.

Conclude your tour with your own The Maj memento, with 10% off merchandise and a refreshment voucher for tour patrons. One lucky participant can also win an Adelaide Festival Centre Prize Pack.

Suitable for ages 12 and up.
