Daly Coffee Kick | Magill | Review
Daly Coffee Kick – barista coffee, a kids corner and close proximity to an awesome playground!
Review by Angelica-Hazel
Located adjacent to the Hectorville Sports and Community club with sweeping views of Daly Oval, Daly Coffee Kick is the ultimate kid friendly café that needs to be on your radar. Pulling up to this café on a Saturday morning the entire neighbourhood is a buzz of activity from nearby sporting teams. Busyness aside, the area has a lovely community vibe and surprisingly the casual coffee shop that is Daly Kick was calm, clean and well equipped for kids.

There are tables outside and inside, plus two windows where coffee and food items can be ordered. Some of the featured items include coffee, milkshakes, breakfast, toasties and sweets with an emphasis on supporting local producers. The indoor space is compact but it does feature a book exchange along with every parents’ dream, a kids corner!

The kids corner contains a couple of small ride in cars, padded play equipment for building forts and castles, books, plush toys and cars. The area is compact but contains enough to entertain small children without being a full blown kids play café.

The other big drawcard for this café is that it offers a casual playgroup every Friday for a gold coin donation. Alongside this it is also a fantastic space to hold birthday parties or celebrations. Parents can book a table for small groups or rent out the entire space and customise to their event needs.
Daly Coffee kick is also located right next door to an oval, tennis courts and an awesome shaded playground a minute walk away. The owner Lisa is also very warm and bubbly and is able to cater to all kinds of dietary requirements including vegetarian, gluten free, vegan and halal. All of these aspects make Daly Coffee Kick a great choice for families and well worth a visit.

Things to consider
- Daly Coffee Kick opening hours can viewed on their social media pages
- There are toilets (accessible too) and change facilities right next door to the café
- Dog Friendly
- Daly Coffee Kick regularly run events for the community (they do great ones for kids during the school holidays so keep an eye out on their socials)
- This place can get super busy on the weekend and parking can be challenging, for a more relaxed experience go during the week
