An action packed weekend, for the whole family to enjoy!
Starting with the Friday night “Renmark Club Dash 4 Cash” under lights – a night of racing action on the Renmark riverfront. Racing starts at 6pm.
On Sunday 7 February the Dinghy Derby takes to the river. The 90km+ race is held on the First Sunday in February annually. There will be food, drinks and kids entertainment on the lawned area. Racing starts at 10am.
The host of the event, the Riverland Dingy Club, was founded in 1981 over a bet between mates, to see who was the fastest. Since then the Riverland Dinghy Derby has become one of the premier events in South Australia, attracting competitors from interstate, and as far away as Western Australia.
